A First Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Gwen Cohen has dedicated her entire career to serving the financial needs of high net worth individuals, multi-generational families and small business owners in the Chicago area and throughout the country for over 30 years.

Gwen earned her M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. She has received accolades from the Chicago Foundation for Women, the Department of the Army, and Morgan Stanley. Most recently, she was recognized as a 2016 MAKER at Morgan Stanley, an award that honors game-changing women leaders within the firm and the industry.

Gwen currently serves as a Board member of Roosevelt University’s College of Performing Arts, WTTW’s Advisory Council and the Goodman Theatre Spotlight Society Advisory. She enjoys volunteering her time with Taylor Street Farms, Breakthrough Ministries Gardening Team, and Unity in Chicago’s Platform Team.

Gwen was deeply influenced by the values of her great grandmother, Ida, who strongly encouraged every person – especially women – to be financially confident and responsible in their financial decisions. With Ida as her inspiration, Gwen’s profession allows her to educate her clients about important financial concepts and strategies, helping to make a significant and profound impact on the quality of their lives.
