Nakeita Stewart is Director of Sales for U.S. Cellular, the fifth-largest wireless telecommunications full-service carrier in the United States. She leads a company-owned sales team of 200+ associates across the Missouri and Illinois footprint. Nakeita is responsible for driving more than $60 million annually in revenue, as well as managing the capital investment and distribution strategy for the Midwest territory.

Nakeita has extensive leadership experience within large organizations of up to 300 employees. She has spent more than a decade working for a variety of companies, including AT&T, Sears, McDonalds, Target and the Australian National University. During this time, Nakeita gained valuable insights on how to improve the customer experience, employee development and engagement, distribution, project management and sales operations.

Nakeita was class valedictorian of her Executive Masters in Business Administration Cohort at Kennesaw State University and has a certification in Global Leadership and International Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Spelman College where she studied in both Atlanta, Ga., and Canberra, Australia.

Nakeita’s past experiences have enabled her to live in various places across the United States and abroad, including Florida, Minneapolis and Georgia in the United States and in Australia, Bogota and Colombia. She currently resides in Columbia, Mo., and spends her extra time volunteering in church and mentoring incoming college students, while also teaming with other U.S. Cellular associates to support various initiatives with Boys & Girls Clubs in her territory. In 2008, Nakeita founded A.C.T.S, which stands for Actively Changing Tomorrow through Service. This organization still serves the Atlanta Community and abroad.
