Chris began his career in 1994 with State Farm as a Claim Representative in Portland, Oregon. As an Auto Claim Representative and member of the National Catastrophe Team, Chris was able to demonstrate his passion for helping people and building relationships. He explored a Sales Role in 1998 with AT&T Wireless Corporate Accounts where he negotiated contracts with Fortune 100 companies including Nike, Intel, and Microsoft. Chris broadened his knowledge of corporate America when he went to work as a Sales Representative for Stryker Medical Companies in 2002. It was during this role that Chris realized his true passion for making a difference in the lives of people. He then returned to State Farm as an Agent in 2005. In this opportunity, he was able to help customers protect and realize their financial dreams. Four years later, Chris was asked to take on an Agency Leadership role for State Farm.

As an Agent and Leader, Chris has qualified for many State Farm Achievement Programs including Legion of Honor, SVP Club, Ambassador Travel and ranked 36th in the Top 100 New Agents as a new agent himself. Chris also earned his RICP designation through the American College.

Today, Chris enjoys his Agency Sales Leader role with State Farm where he has the opportunity to coach, develop and mentor State Farm Agents. With 37 agents in his sales territory, he helps tenured and new agents maximize their agency opportunity, grow as entrepreneurs and lead their own teams to success. Chris’s favorite part of his job is the ability to impact multiple lives through introducing new agents to the agency opportunity.

Prior to joining State Farm, Chris attended Oregon State University where he received a scholarship as a pitcher for the Beaver Baseball team. As an alumnus of Oregon State University, where he received B.S. degrees in both Psychology and Communications, Chris regularly supports the athletic and programs.

Chris and his wife Kelly have three children – Chance age 13, Reece age 12, and Rylin age 8. Kelly works for State Farm in Agency Leadership, as well.

Chris is an energetic, influential, and authentic leader. Through his years of sales, leadership, community involvement, and coaching, Chris has helped others develop personally and professionally in an effort to achieve their goals.
