Alice High aka “Alice from Dallas” is originally from the Dallas/Ft Worth area and graduated from the University of Houston. She competed as an athlete throughout her school career despite being told she was too short to compete at a division one collegiate level as a high jumper. It was that “no”, which drove her to never accept “no” for an answer in anything she did moving forward. After graduating from the University of Houston on a full track and field scholarship, Alice spent 6 years at GlaxoSmithKline as a Senior Executive Urology Sales Rep, where she won several President’s Club Sales Awards. She then transitioned to Coloplast where she converted one of the lowest performing territories to the #1 territory in the country. Alice was was recruited to Medtronic where she spent 6 years as a sales rep, before being the first African American female to be promoted to a district manager in the Pelvic Health business unit in 25 years.;Her accomplishments include taking a 1.4-million-dollar territory, to one of the largest revenue territories in the country. She has one numerous Presidents Club Awards, Star Achievers Awards, as well as being named “Honey Badger of the Year”. “Off the field” Alice has taken control of her development by participating in several leadership development programs such as LIFT, WIL, EMERGE, EFFICACY, as well as the FLEX program. Alice is the Co-chair of the DFW African Descent Network ERG at Medtronic where her local chapter received the “Chapter of the Year” Award in 2021.
Alice’s family consist of her husband Donald, and their two children Devin (11) and Dallas (3). She’s passionate about providing for her family while setting a positive example for her children and helping to invest/mentor other aspiring sales representatives the way others have supported her over the years.
