Amber Doss is currently the Director of State Government Affairs for the Southeastern Region at Sanofi. Prior to this role, Amber was a Regional Account Director for the Sanofi Specialty Care Market Access team. She started her professional career with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. After 6 years with Pfizer, Amber joined Sanofi Genzyme as a Clinical Science Associate (CSA) with the US Rare Disease Business Unit in Baton Rouge, LA. Within 18 months, she was promoted to a Clinical Account Associate at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX, where she currently resides. Amber has been recognized with numerous awards, including Circle of Excellence and Regional awards. Amber has served as the Rare Therapeutic Area Champion for the Market Access West region and the Market Access Inclusion & Diversity Council. She has also served on Sanofi’s North America Diversity Council. She completed an Inclusion and Diversity Preceptorship at Sanofi and served as the Co-Lead for MOSIAC, Sanofi’s Multicultural Employee Resource Group.
Amber Doss is the past President and current Board Chair for the Houston Chapter of National Sales Network (NSN). Under Amber’s leadership as President, the Houston Chapter’s membership doubled, making them the largest chapter in the country. The number of sponsorships for the Houston Chapter also doubled and they were the first chapter to get an NBA team as a local sponsor with the Houston Rockets. At the 2018 national conference, the Houston Chapter won Chapter of the Year for the second time and the Philanthropy Award for raising over $13,000 in NSN Student Conference donations. Amber was recognized with the David M. Richardson Individual Contributor Award for her efforts both locally and nationally.
Amber currently serves on several boards. In addition to being the Board Chair for the NSN Houston, she is the Director at Large of Programming for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Houston Chapter and is on the Board of Directors for Project Row Houses in Houston. Amber is a member of Women of Color in Pharma (WOCIP), and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She was the recipient of the 2021 WOCIP Trailblazer Award and the 2022 HBA Luminary Award. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out, hanging out with family, friends.
Amber is a graduate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Louisiana Tech University and holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Biology.
