Jason Nichol is Chief Customer Officer of Tyson Foods. His team of more than 1,090 professionals develop business strategy and growth plans with national restaurant chains and grocery chains, broad-line distributors, school lunch programs, membership clubs, dollar stores, c-stores and non-commercial sales where the company’s products are sold.
Jason is skilled in developing joint business plans with Tyson Foods’ customers designed to sustain growth for both companies. Additionally, his team leads eCommerce, consumer insights and trends, category leadership platforms, in-store demand creation through customer marketing, and product development with customers in all channels.
Jason joined Tyson Foods with 20 years of CPG experience with Nabisco, Cott Beverages, and Scotts Miracle-Gro. Jason started his career at Tyson Foods in 2014 when he joined through the acquisition of The Hillshire Brands company where he was responsible for the Walmart business. In March of 2016, Jason assumed the role of Senior Vice President overseeing strategic initiatives with executive leaders at Walmart. He was named Chief Customer Officer in February of 2021.
