Mathilda Tuuli is the Manager of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at the Wendy’s Company where she executes Wendy’s DEI strategy and culture transformation.
Mathilda lives out her mission, of people service daily, as the Manager, Diversity Equity Inclusion with an expertise in cross cultural engagement. With a proven track record of success working with C level executives, and an extensive background comprised of work, education, and public outreach, Mathilda has cultivated strategically aligned relationships to remove barriers and build opportunities that accelerate equity in the circles she navigates and beyond.
Prior to joining Wendy’s Mathilda spent several years developing retention programs for minority and first-generation college students where she championed corporate recruitment of diverse talents from universities.
Mathilda holds a Master’s degree in Students Affairs from Missouri State University, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from The Ohio State University, and an undergraduate degree from University for Development Studies, Ghana.
Mathilda has expertise in developing and delivering courses and group seminars on cross cultural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics. Mathilda also serves as advisor to all seven of Employee Resource Groups. She is a Certified Diversity Professional with the National Diversity Council, and Advisory Board Member of the Ohio Diversity Council.
Creating impactful change, providing access and opportunity with strategic intentionality, and bringing people together is the calling that Mathilda was born to fulfill. When she’s not leading DEI work, Mathilda enjoys life with her two amazing daughters.
