Michael Dubose

In March of 2019, Michael assumed the role of President of Fisher Healthcare at Thermo Fisher
Scientific Inc. In this leadership role, he is responsible for the Diagnostic Laboratory Business
which serves Healthcare Acute Care Hospitals and National and Local Reference Lab customers
in the U.S.
His educational background includes degrees in Music and Business Administration from Florida
A&M University in Tallahassee Florida.
Over his 35+ year career, Michael has held senior leadership roles at the Global VP and
President level for both national and global businesses such as W.W. Grainger, Staples, Alliant
Foodservice (formerly Kraft Distribution) and Baxter Travenol.
Michael currently serves on several boards which include, Chairman of the Board for the
Healthcare Industry Distribution Association (HIDA, representing 129 Healthcare companies), a
member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), Board of Trustee Director for Florida A&M
University, and Public Board Director for Watts Water Technology Inc. He is also the President
and Chairman of the Board for the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity National Foundation, Inc. Mike is
very active in his community and serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Atlanta
Council and also the Southern Region Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America.
Over the course of his 35-year career, he has received numerous business achievement and
community awards. Most recently, he received the Sales Diversity Champion Award from the
National Sales Network. He also received the 104th Elder Watson Diggs Award for career
achievement and national impact in the community, the second highest award from Kappa
Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Michael is an Eagle Scout Awardee, a God and Country Awardee, a
Whitney M. Young National Service Awardee, and recently a Silver Beaver Awardee from the
Boy Scouts of America.
