Syed Wasey is a Director of Sales for Thomson Reuters and leads the Northeast Region of the small to medium Legal sales channel. His teams provide industry leading legal research, law firm management, and various related solutions to law firms with as little as one attorney to up to 30. Syed started his career with Thomson Reuters just six months ago. Prior, he was the Director of Sales for Paychex, a Human Capital Management provider and the Vice President of Sales for Imagetec, a IT and document management company in Chicago. In his brief time at Thomson Reuters, his teams have shown near double digit growth from prior year sales results, have adopted a customer centric sales process and have demonstrated marked improvement in closing ratio and higher average revenue per sale.
Syed has been the recipient of numerous leadership awards throughout his career and has promoted over a dozen sales executives and sales managers. He attended University of Illinois at Chicago and recently completed the Executive Education program at University of Chicago – Booth School of Business in Strategic Sales Management.
